 Anxieties and Panic Attacks

In the case of Anxieties and Panic Attacks even just thinking about doing the triggered behaviour is often enough to trigger the panic attack/anxiety response.

The fear response is triggered many times each time heightening the level of anxiety - in many people this can cause a panic attack. Effectively the anxiety, discomfort and panic are a self-fulfilling prophecy that is heightened in our own perception and with physical symptoms too. Often it attempts to protect us by raising our fears and anxieties to phobic levels to keep us from a particular activity or stimulus it sees as dangerous.

Even though our unconscious only ever seeks to promote our well being it can often be the seat of faulty learning from earlier experiences leading to avoidant behaviour, an Anxiety Disorder, that is physically felt as highly uncomfortable, sometimes perceived as if life-threatening. And it can 'pattern-match' across to similar situations so that it affects many areas of our life and prevents the sufferer from being able to go about their, necessary, daily business.

There are advanced hypnotherapeutic techniques, I have been taught at the Advanced Practitioner level, that are highly effective in treating the underlying anxiety/panic responses and reducing the level of anxiety to one which allows the individual to experience a level of comfort and ease that prevents you feeling inappropriate anxiety. - Simply put if you have a positive experience of comfort and ease you cannot experience the sensation of fear at the same time - fact!

I have been specifically trained in the treatment of Anxieties and Phobias to be able to remove the underlying feelings of anxiety caused by the learned behaviour whilst resolving the anxious triggers.

Just 3-4, 90 minute sessions, is all that is usually required to be free from a complex, debilitating, anxiety issues.
